Our route suggestions

Weekend cruise to Barbridge
Our most popular cruise for weekenders is to head south from the marina down the Trent & Mersey Canal towards the next closest town of Middlewich (where the first lock is). After a 10 minute cruise through the town centre and a few more locks you then turn right on to the Middlewich Branch of the Shropshire Union Canal as you cruise to Barbridge Junction before turning around and cruising back home.
This route is great for combining locks with countryside and canal side pubs.
Mid Week Break to Nantwich
With 4 nights on board a perfect route is to head south towards Middlewich, turning right on to the Middlewich Branch of the Shropshire Union canal. Once you reach the Barbridge Junction you could turn left and cruise for a couple more hours where you would reach your turnaround point of the historic Cheshire market town of Nantwich.
This route is great for combining locks with countryside and canal side pubs with sightseeing.

10 Day Cheshire Ring Cruise
With 10 days to complete the Cheshire Ring (anit-clockwise recommended), you will have the opportunity to experience the canals from every angle. From rural countryside to the hustle and bustle of sailing through Manchester City Centre.
This route is best suited for experienced boaters and includes staircase locks, city and countryside cruising. This route includes 3 tunnels.

10 Day Cruise to Llangollen
Cruising via the Trent & Mersey Canal & Shropshire Union Canal (Main Line) to reach the beautiful Llangollen canal, you will reach the 125ft Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and cruise through it. A real must do for canal cruises.
This route is great for combining locks with countryside. This route also includes swing bridges.
